CTSI 10

alt= CTSI 10 Teaching and Learnign at U of T Then and wow!

2019 marks the 10th anniversary of the creation of the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation (CTSI). To celebrate this milestone, we are showcasing projects, initiatives and partnerships that highlight the work of CTSI, as well as instructors and graduate students, librarians and administrators who develop and promote teaching excellence and enhance the U of T student experience. We will end with a celebration at the University of Toronto’s Teaching and Learning Symposium on May 28th – and yes, there will be cake!

CTSI was formed in 2009 through the amalgamation of the Office of Teaching Advancement, including the Teaching Assistants’ Training Program, and the Resource Centre for Academic Technology. With a mission to build teaching excellence through leadership, collaboration and innovation, CTSI connects with divisions, departments and individuals on all three campuses, in the community, and at other institutions, both national and international, to enhance the student and instructor experience at U of T.

Over the past decade, CTSI staff members have supported instructors and graduate students through consultations on teaching and learning and the building of teaching-focused resources, connected instructors and graduate students to peers and programs that support their teaching goals, promoted the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) at U of T, contributed to journals and publications, presented at conferences, and made significant contributions to the culture of teaching at U of T and, more broadly, the global higher education discussion.

Join us for the CTSI 10 countdown as we celebrate teaching and learning at the University of Toronto!
